Throughout the year, we organize a diverse range of events to cater to various interests. These events encompass local meet-ups, fundraisers, and our eagerly anticipated annual family weekend.
Our family weekend serves as the highlight of our year, bringing together all members of our AMC community. It provides a valuable opportunity for our members to connect with others who share similar experiences. We arrange for guest speakers to join us, sharing insights about their services or products, allowing our members to engage in conversations and learn more about what they offer. This event also facilitates interactions among TAG members with AMC, fostering a sense of camaraderie. To ensure convenience for all attendees, we schedule our Annual General Meeting (AGM) the day after the family weekend, minimizing costs and travel requirements.
The success of our previous family weekend was truly remarkable, leaving us delighted with the overwhelmingly positive feedback received. TAG Family Weekend 2024 – Celebrating 40 years of TAG
Date: Saturday 12th October till Sunday 13th October
Venue: Village Hotel Nottingham, NG9 6DL
Come and celebrate TAG’s 40th Birthday with us at the Village Hotel in Nottingham. We have a fun-filled agenda for the weekend and are welcoming old and new members. Some of the things we will be getting up to are: Daytime events include: Para Ice Hockey by Sheffield Steelkings, Create a 40th anniversary keepsake, Boccia and of course our AGM. Saturday evening is a celebration starting with the Children’s Disco, Celebration Meal, Evening Disco with Karaoke and the TAG Raffle.

This year TAG will cover the day delegate costs Saturday and Sunday, including refreshments, and the Saturday evening meal for ALL attendees. (There will be a £25 deposit for those only attending during the day, as high numbers of last minute cancellations have resulted in TAG absorbing theses costs in the past).
